The position covers a broad variety of duties related to image check processing and payment transactions. The role requires a detail-oriented employee with initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The employee will have the unique opportunity to be involved in the FNBB Correspondent roll out of the new Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) faster payment solution, FedNow. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and will need to gain a strong understanding of the new product features and functionality.
• Ability to learn and apply check regulations to serve has a subject matter expert to assist customers submit and respond to fraud related claims.
• Research, analyze and process system corrections related to bank errors in check processing.
• Post daily transactions and accounting entries.
• Maintain computerized records and thoroughly document work in an organized and timely manner.
• Train customers on FNBB operated systems.
• Monitor electronic file transmissions and work closely with IT to identify and resolve transmission related issues.
• Responsible for Internal and External Account Reconcilement.
• Gather and organize data to compile daily and monthly reports and billing.
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently transition from one task to another to help the team quickly resolve operational issues.
• Develop faster payment product knowledge to serve as an internal and external subject matter expert.
• Provide onboarding assistance to our Client Services team and work directly with our FRB FedNow Onboarding Manager, Financial Institutions and Service Providers to successfully deploy the service offering.
• Assist development team in testing new product functionality prior to implementation to production platform.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to cover workflow and ensure department coverage.
