The Financial Data Processor will ensure the consistent and accurate file processing to be used in analysis, reporting and other business needs. The processor will update and balance software systems with customer financial statements and corresponding data in an accurate and timely manner.
Working in MS Excel and two primary specialized softwares.
High attention to detail. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and speak clearly to customers and employees.
Key end results to support the effectiveness of this position include accurate entry of customer data and timely balancing in the system.
• Gather customer data, verify completeness and receipt of data.
• Research and resolve issues related to data files by communicating with customer as needed.
• Validate source data for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare customer data files for input.
• Load the prepared data and verify it is balanced in the data and ALM systems.
• Multi-task, including creating, maintaining and switching between multiple windows and Excel spreadsheets.
• Navigate and understand department network structures and file locations, including data and database folder structure.
• Prepare final customer reports in PDF and MS Excel, and create backups.
• Update the department tracking file.
• Update the deadline calendar.
• Save and log incoming electronic data files from customers.
• Send data file reminders and other mass emails to customers.
• Organize and maintain customer contact list.
• Download customer peer data.
• Prepare customer peer reports.
• Complete file archiving and network folder backups.
• Gather and upload monthly data to third party.
• Complete project work as assigned.
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary.
